    I have nothing bad to say about the sushi, rolls, or sashimi at Ichiban. On the contrary, it's my favorite sushi place in the area. The Maki Special during lunch for $10 is phenomenal. A roll AND an order of sashimi for $10???
    I haven't tried anything from the grill here, so I can't help with any recommendations.
    To go orders are always ready and the orders have always been correct.
    One last thing, when you go to dine in, "Sit where you like!"

    I'm giving it one star because once I finally got my food it was pretty good. Wow. After waiting for like 15 mins I finally get them to take my order. Simple. Hibachi. Chicken. It takes 40 mins. Not to mention the place is gross and my waiter was terrible. If he was even my waiter. The waiters were basically too busy playing grab ass and talking to know who was ever really responsible for your order. I watched one server carry one table their food in one hand and the broom and dustpan in the other. My guy literally left the restaurant right past me while my plates were stacked and I was ready to get my check. I said 'so are you leaving can I have my check?' He's like oh sorry they're coming. Finally I can get the hell outta here. I wanted shogun but I'm on an ichiban budget. Next time I'll splurge.

    The soup and salad was very good. When my food came out, my appetite went to 0, so it was difficult to enjoy my meal. I value great customer service. Today customer service was 0. The waitress bought me chicken n rice, which I don't eat. I said to her, I ordered shrimp and rice. My waiter, Chris, cut his eyes at her, hard, and showed me his pad, that he wrote what i ordered chicken n rice. I was not up for argument and he was not nice nor understanding, just pissed and rude. His words said the right things but the attitude and body language and facial expressions spoke louder. I ordered shrimp on the side. A 5.95 lunch, cost me 10.95. I paid 4.00 for a side of shrimp. My lunch was ruined. I still left a 20% tip because I refuse to let anyone change my heart.

    STAPLE LUNCH SPOT!! Lunch specials last until 3:00 which is a plus! Chicken and rice is the way to go, 10/10 recommend! Prices are wonderful!!

    I walked in, made eye contact with several waitresses/hostesses, waited 5-10 minutes, never got a table, and walked out.  One of them was sitting down, using a computer.  One of them was sipping miso by the bar.  Apparently, they didn't want my money.
